sales Volume for iPhone accessories will be improved if iPhone prices cut
In early January 2019, Apple company cut the prices for iPhone 8, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS for the third-party retailers in China. Eventually, these savings were passed on to consumers. But from the look of things, sales haven’t yet met expectations.
As was the case last time, these discounts aren’t reflected on Apple’s official website or in its physical stores. This means that local consumers hoping to buy one of the flagships directly through Apple.
Apple previously announced that it would be adjusting iPhone prices in certain global markets in order to account for currency fluctuations. But as things stand, it’s unclear if these pricing adjustments are part of that plan or simply an effort to boost sales drastically as the first quarter of 2019 comes to a close. And the sales volume of iPhone accessories （such as tempered glass screen protector, phone case, charger,etc.) will be improved accordingly.
